Saturday, March 21st 10AM-11AM I One Hour Wheel
Class will be held Saturday, March 21st from 10am to 11am!
In this beginner-friendly class, students are guided step-by-step through the process of throwing on the wheel. Each person can shape their piece into a bowl, planter, cup, or shallow dish. Note: we do not make or attach handles to pieces in this class. Before leaving, students will pick their glaze color and the studio will paint the work once it has dried and been fired. All pieces will be dishwasher and microwave safe upon pickup 3 weeks later.
Please note that we do not offer reschedules or refunds. If you cannot attend a purchased class, you may gift your ticket to a friend. Transfer your ticket to your friend by emailing hello@tradeoakcliff.com at least 24 hours before the start of your class.
Arrive early to make sure you can enjoy your entire class! Get to the studio at least 10 minutes early to check in. You do not want to be late because we cover a lot of important steps at the beginning. Please factor in Dallas traffic and parking.
Pick up or ship to your doorstep! Once your piece has been finished by the studio, we will send a message with our available pick up days and hours. If you need your pieces shipped, let your teacher know and you will pay in class.
Kids: We welcome kids into our pottery classes, but we do require that all participants be at least 10 years old. All kids should be accompanied by a ticketed parent.
We provide aprons, but wear clothes you can get dirty in, the clay does wash out. Short nails are recommended but not required; if you arrive with longer nails, your teacher can give you tips to accommodate your throwing techniques.
BYOB: You may bring drinks to class (alcoholic or non), but must arrive sober and remain able to focus on instruction.
