One Hour Wheel | Saturday, January 31st 8PM-9PM
Class will be held Saturday, January 31st from 8PM-9PM!
Designed as an accessible way for beginners to try out pottery, students in this class are guided step-by-step through the process of throwing on the wheel. This class is perfect for those who have never worked with clay before, as our expert instructors offer hands-on guidance throughout class. Each student will end class with a custom ceramic piece, such as a bowl, cup, or planter. Note: we do not make or attach handles to pieces in this class.
Please note that we do not offer reschedules or refunds. If you cannot attend a purchased class, you may gift your ticket to a friend. Transfer your ticket to your friend by emailing hello@tradeoakcliff.com at least 24 hours before the start of your class.
Arrive early to make sure you can enjoy your entire class! Get to the studio at least 10 minutes before your class starts to complete any initial instructions. You do not want to be late to class because we cover a lot of important steps at the beginning. Please factor in Dallas traffic and parking when planning your visit.
Working on the pottery wheel can be messy! We provide aprons, but wear clothes you can get dirty in, the clay does wash out. Short nails are recommended but not required; if you arrive with longer nails, your teacher can give you tips to accommodate your throwing techniques.
BYOB: You may bring drinks to class (alcoholic or non), but must arrive sober and remain able to focus on instruction.
Kids: We welcome kids into our pottery classes, but we do require that all of our participants be at least 10 years old. All kids should also be accompanied by a ticketed parent.
Dishwasher, and microwave safe!
Pick up three weeks after your class or ship to your doorstep! Once your piece has been finished by the studio, we send a message with our available pick up days and hours. Please note that we send the pick up message via text or email to the person who booked the class and you will need to forward information to the people you purchased for if they are picking up separately.
If you would like to ship your piece home, just tell your teacher. You will select and pay for shipping in the studio at the end of your class (costs range from $22 to $30, depending on how many items you are shipping). Your piece will ship out about four weeks after your class date and we will send a tracking number once we have sent your package.
